Terms and Conditions
Bookings are usually accepted for units of complete weeks, from Saturday to Saturday. During low season we can be more flexible and we also offer the apartment for short breaks (minimum 3 nights) from £175 based on 2 people sharing.
A verbal phone booking or a booking by email is taken as reserved for 1 week, awaiting receipt of the booking form and payment.
A non refundable deposit of £50 for each week's holiday should be paid by cheque, which is to be sent with the booking form. (Please note this deposit is still applicable to short breaks). Cheques should be made payable to Mrs. J. Thomson. For guests from abroad, international bank transfer facilities are available upon request.
The full price for the booking must be paid six weeks prior to the holiday. Your deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your holiday. In respect of winter lets, the cost of heating and electricity are all included in the cost.
In cases of cancellation, notification should be given immediately and the booking confirmation returned. If cancellation is received 28 days or less before the hire starting date the hirer is responsible for the balance of hire money as stated above, if the accommodation is not relet. In all cases of cancellation the deposit is forfeited. (Holiday Insurance is advised as booking is a legally binding contract).
The time of occupation is normally from 3.00pm on the starting Saturday of hire. We can be flexible on this, please phone to arrange an eariler time. The accommodation must be vacated by 10.30am on the final Saturday of hire.
If we are prevented, because of circumstances outside our control, from putting the accommodation at the disposal of the hirer on the starting date, the full payment shall be returned but the hirer shall have no further claim against us.
The hirer is responsible for the accommodation and is expected to take all reasonable care of it. The hirer must also pay for all equipment lost or damaged. The property and all utensils must be left in a clean condition at the end of the hire period.
We will accept no liability for the person or property of the hirer.
